About AS Arboriculture
AS Arboriculture is a limited company based in Market Deeping, near Peterborough. Lead arborist Alex Smiley and Michelle run the company day to day, so every customer deals directly with the people doing and organising the work.
We have operated since 2023 as AS ARBORICULTURE LTD (Company No. 14982138). Today our main work is commercial site clearance and vegetation clearance, alongside tree surgery, stump grinding, hedge cutting and groundworks for homeowners, businesses and councils.

Alex leads the work on site and Michelle keeps jobs, customers and paperwork running smoothly. You get one point of contact from first call to final tidy-up.
Qualifications and site safety
Alex holds the relevant tree surgery certificates and qualifications for his work. Stump grinding is undertaken by NPTC-qualified operators. CSCS-registered teams and CSCS/NPORS/SSSTS-qualified supervisors support groundworks.

We carry £5 million public liability insurance, supply RAMS for commercial work and follow industry best practice on every job.

That local base connects the company’s domestic tree work with its commercial clearance activities. Customers can speak to Alex or Michelle about the site, the proposed operation and the practical arrangements, rather than relying on a photograph to decide what needs doing.
Alex holds the tree surgery certificates and qualifications relevant to his work. NPTC-qualified operators undertake stump grinding. Commercial jobs have risk assessments and method statements, while groundworks involve CSCS-registered teams and CSCS/NPORS/SSSTS-qualified supervisors. Roadside work uses Chapter 8 traffic management.
