Tree Surgeon in Chatteris
For a Chatteris enquiry near agricultural drains, describe where machines can reach the vegetation without relying on the bank as a working surface. Adjacent crops, gateways and soft verges affect access, and drainage-authority requirements may need checking. Garden trees require their own assessment even where open farmland is nearby. A tall willow beside a shed or boundary might need sectional removal rather than open felling. Let us know which material should be collected and which existing planting is to remain.
Chatteris is around 33 miles from our Market Deeping base, roughly via the A141.
Chatteris is surrounded by deep fen farmland, where straight roads and drains cut across level, productive fields. Hedges, willow clumps and shelterbelts shape the landscape, and they need cutting back to keep tracks passable and drains accessible.
AS Arboriculture Ltd brings tractor flails, mulchers and timber cranes out from Market Deeping to Chatteris and the outlying farms. We cut back hedges, clear scrub and dismantle trees that have grown too big, leaving fields, banks and lanes ready for use.
Overgrown hedges and lane sides
Fenland lanes are narrow and often have soft verges. Suitable flails reduce hedges and brambles overhanging the carriageway, working carefully to keep debris off the road and keep farm vehicles moving.
Drain-side and field-edge scrub
Willow and bramble can spread along drains. We clear banks and field edges using mulchers and arm-mounted flails, working around internal drainage board drains and respecting landowner access agreements.
Shelterbelts and large trees
Poplars and willows planted as windbreaks can reach great heights. We fell or sectionally dismantle them with climbers and a timber crane, and chip or stack the timber, then grind stumps where needed.
